Amazon Turtle Lodge is a sustainable lodge with the idea of conservation and preservation of this region. On the right margin of the Mamori River is one of the most interesting eco-system with many different kinds of mammals, and fishes birds. The lodge is surrounded by many small creeks (small channels) and lakes (natural lagoons) ideal for fishing for all kinds of species of fishes.
01st Day - Departure from hotel or airport at 14:00 p.m., let's go fishing at Amazon Turtle Lodge, transfer will be done by car or van drive to (Porto do Ceasa) about 25 minutes drive. Our arrival to lodge is to be around 05:00 p.m. Have some welcome drink`s and get your fishing rods ready for early morning fishing, dinner will be served at 07:30 p.m.
The lodge is located on the margin of the Lake Tracajá, about 100km southeast of Manaus. Arrival from Manaus takes approximately 2:h50 minutes of traveling done in three parts. The first part of the journey is twenty minute trip from the river port ("Porto Ceasa to Porto Careiro") done by speedboat, where you"ll have the opportunity to see the meeting of the Rio Negro and Solimões Rivers (meeting of the waters); the point where the Amazon River begins. This is a perfect opportunity to experience the mightiness of both rivers and take photos of the distinct line formed by the two rivers as they run side by side not mixing for many kilometers or also if you would like to cast your lines for a bit of deep water fishing, for catfishes.
Next is a forty-minute ride down the Manaus-Porto Velho highway by car, where you will have the chance to see many exotic flora and fauna, such as kingfishers, egrets, jacaré (alligators), water lilies and amazing jungle.
The final part, which takes forty-five minutes, is by boat traveling on the Mamori River until your final destination is the Lake Tracajá AMAZON TURTLE LODGE. You'll see many creeks full of wildlife, and depending on the time of year you may get to experience the Igapó (flooded forest). This trip is also nice for bird watching. You should be able to enjoy the sight of many pink or grey river dolphins feeding and playing right in front of the lodge throughout your stay. In addition to the incredible landscapes and breath taking sunsets, you'll be able to appreciate one of the richest areas of biodiversity on the planet and rest in the knowledge that we will provide you.
2nd Day- (05h30 a.m.) breakfast and out fishing the whole day back for lunch and in the afternoon some more fishing until sunset.

5th Day- (08h00 a.m.) breakfast and return back to Manaus will leave at 09:00 a.m. by same itinerary. You can choose at Manaus for transport to drop off at airport or hotel downtown; will be at Manaus around 12:00 p.m.
Fishing Program is Includes: Transfer In and Out, fishing program one day at Amazon Turtle Lodge full service on fishing trip according fishing program: breakfast (snack on the way), lunch at Amazon Turtle Lodge, aluminum boats proper for fishing in our region, with pilot, fuel up with gasoline and electric motor. Aluminum boats with cooler:
02 fisherman per boat and 01 fishing guide local natives of the region whom will take you to best spots for fishing.

Any type of personal fishing equipments and extra buying at Amazon Turtle Lodge as drinks or souvenir.
